Photos from the One-Day Mini-Camp

Oh my goodness did we have fun in the MLK Day Mini-Camp!  Since outdoor temperatures were in single digits there was no going outside to the playground!

There were two taekwon-do lessons, the one im the morning was taught by Master Giletti and the afternoon session was taught by Master Meany.  Students did fighting drills and got to break boards.

In addition to that campers played a game called Volleyballoon several times--boys vs girls was a popular division of teams--who doesn't enjoy playing with balloons?  Plus they divided into teams to raced to stack the pads.

After lunch the students went through the laser maze.  Due to budgetary constraints we decided that lasers powerful enough to cut a person in half were *probably* not recommended so we used red yarn instead.  Our smallest camper was the best at the laser maze and easily made it through the fastest, but everyone made it through with skill.

    The changing rooms have showers, and we have a gender-neutral bathroom, plus individual-use changing rooms.
