The Glen Ridge Taekwon-do Potluck Picnic is on Saturday, June 20th. There is a signup sheet on the bulletin board in the school so you can sign up to bring your favorite dish! Friends and family are welcome to come.
The Summer Deferment deadline is Monday, June 22. If you wish to have your membership frozen for time during the summer you must let us know by that date. Fill in the form online or use one of the paper forms which are available at the front desk. The first Mighty Lions camp starts in a week and there are still a few spots available. If you are interested in signing up your child there is more information available here or stop at the front desk for information and an application form. Mighty Lions camps are June 22-26 and July 20-24. Students are not required to attend both weeks, and the camp is open to current students as well as to people who have not studied Taekwon-do. The Taekwon-do International Boot Camp will be held in Virginia from August 7 through 9. Registration is online and they are taking applications from Adults and Juniors. This weekend camp is a great way to experience an immersion into learning Taekwon-do; it's a chance to meet other Taekwon-do practitioners from other schools, and to have fun learning. Classroom 2, Choi. Used mostly for Mighty Lions classes.
Classroom 3: The Studio. Used for Mighty Lions class overflow, and special small programs.
We have a parking lot available for everyone coming to the school
The changing rooms have showers, and we have a gender-neutral bathroom, plus individual-use changing rooms.
The waiting area has free wifi and looks out onto Kim. It has a closed circuit camera to see into Choi.
