Competitions and Competition Training
We will be going to the 7th Annual Founder's Championship on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Fairfield, NJ (20 minutes by car from Montclair).

Events at the competition include Patterns (called Open Forms), Board Breaking and Sparring, as well as Team Forms.

Going to the competition (whether to compete or just watch) and the competition training are a fun optional add-on to your regular practice.

Who can compete?
There are divisions for Mighty Lions, Juniors and Adults. There are also beginner divisions which means students who only know Four Direction Punch or Chun-Ji can compete with other beginners with their pattern or board breaking.

Our Facilities

Glen Ridge Taekwon-do on Glenridge Ave at Greenwood.

Classroom 1, Kim. Our biggest classroom, used for Adults and Juniors.

Classroom 2, Choi. Used mostly for Mighty Lions classes.

Classroom 3: The Studio. Used for Mighty Lions class overflow, and special small programs.

We have a parking lot available for everyone coming to the school

The changing rooms have showers, and we have a gender-neutral bathroom, plus individual-use changing rooms.

The waiting area has free wifi and looks out onto Kim. It has a closed circuit camera to see into Choi.
